The Chamberson

We originally booked two 1 bed studios, however the day of the booking we recieved a phonecard offering us an apartment that was available instead, which we suited better as we were two couples travelling together. The apartment was clean and the beds very comfortable. They supply basics such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well as tea, coffee and milk. The staff over the phone and when receiving our key cards were professional and kind. The location is perfect with free parking out front from 6pm - 9am and then metered car parking after that. We would definitely stay again!

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Dunedin Loved my stay at The Chamberson! The hotel is beautifully restored with a perfect blend of heritage charm and modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and spotlessly clean, with high ceilings and thoughtful touches throughout. The location couldn’t be better right in the city centre but still quiet and peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience felt effortlessly relaxed and high quality. Definitely be back!

We stayed in the Loft. Absolutely amazing. The views from the balcony are fabulous. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the bath. The wallpapers in the bathroom and lounge room are delightful. True designer quality and taste. The location of the hotel is the best. Read about the height restrictions for the garage and do brought our smaller car. It was so easy to have a park in town. The staff were excellent. Really nice girls. Thank you.
