Great stay in a very peaceful place. Great infrastructure, well maintained, amazing rooms with bathroom and shower under the palm trees (amazing). Service unmatched with great attention to all details. Only downside is the beach. Not very attractive for swimming or snorkeling with Rocky bottom. Other then that, pool, room, food, service and spa was amazing..!

Beautiful rooms and fantastic hotel, incredible staff and located right on the beach. The locals are incredibly friendly. We had a massage on site which was great and very reasonably priced. Cocktails during happy hour were a good price and breakfast was fine. Sengiggi itself isn’t much of anything so I wouldn’t recommend for the area, but for the hotel itself, I would 100% recommend. It is only around 20-30 minutes from Bangsal harbour which is handy if you need a stopover.

Stayed at Chandi Resort for 3 nights right after hiking Mount Rinjani in May 2025. The price is on the higher side for a small resort, but the clean, quiet, and beautifully landscaped surroundings offer a peaceful, relaxing vibe, perfect for recovery and rest. The restaurant view is definitely a highlight, on clear days, you can even see Mount Agung across the sea. Food is on the healthier side, which I appreciate, but the portion sizes are small and taste-wise, just average for the price. The beach, unfortunately, is a letdown — it’s dirty and not suitable for swimming or even walking, which takes away from the “beachfront resort” experience. Spa service was also underwhelming. It didn’t feel very professional, no foot soak before the massage, and the masseuse’s technique could be improved. It felt a bit not as relaxing as expected. Rooms were clean but basic, with limited amenities. For this price point, I expected a bit more comfort or thoughtful touches. That said, one pleasant surprise was their Happy Hour session (5–7pm). Cocktails were very well made, and all tasted great. The bartender was friendly and skillful, really lifted the overall experience during my stay. Overall, Chandi is a peaceful place to rest with some standout views and a great bar, but there’s still room to improve in terms of beach maintenance, spa quality, and room offerings, especially at this price.
