The Chania Hotel Crete Vignette Collection by IHG

We stayed for 7 nights, it is a very lovely hotel. The location is absolutely the best part, everything is near you. Rooms are nice and clean. Especially liked that there was no noise coming from outside, considering that the hotel is located in the heart of the city. Great breakfast and the service was good.

Stayed at The Chania Hotel for one week. On arrival, was greeted by a friendly member of staff. Was seated and offered a drink. Due to the room not being ready went for a stroll into Chania. It would have been nice to freshen up and change first, so I was a little disappointed. The room wasn't ready as after the check-in time recommendation. We went back to the hotel after about 2 hours needed now to change into something cooler. The room was delightful although the air con was off, so I had to sort that out because by this point, after walking around beforehand, we both needed a shower and were hot and sweaty. The hotel was very clean and smelled beautiful throughout. The bed is so comfy, and slept very well for the whole week. Black out blinds were perfect for keeping out the sunshine in the room. There are lots of different lighting settings for the room and a balcony to sit out. Lots of noise due to being in a central location to such a busy city. If you don't like too much noise don't stay here! We are city folk, so never really bothered us, except at night, sometimes it was noisy! Bring ear plugs, lol. Breakfast is plentiful and a very very good variety with choices from the buffet or menu. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and really enjoyed our stay here. There is a small gym and sauna and also access to a small plunge pool. We never used these facilities due to sightseeing this beautiful city. Would definitely stay at The Chania again as central to everything.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The room and bathroom were both very spacious, beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. One of the biggest highlights was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, they really made us feel at home. The location of the hotel is excellent, everything we needed was close by and it was very convenient for exploring the area. The only things we didn’t enjoy as much were the gym and the pool area. The gym was quite limited, with only four machines, and the pool is located right behind the breakfast area indoors, which felt a bit unusual and lacked privacy. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, great location, and outstanding service.
