The Charles Bathurst Inn

We enjoyed a truly delightful first visit to The CB Inn—welcomed by the loveliest staff, in a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere. The meals were generous in portion, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. What really stood out was the staff’s thoughtful extra: they went above and beyond, providing pens and paper to keep the children happily entertained—such a considerate touch for families. Thank you for a thoroughly pleasurable experience. We look forward to our next visit!

Nice for a pint, a chinwag and perhaps a quick game of pool. However, the standard of the food has certainly slipped - It simply isn't as good as it used to be. Not so long ago, this was a 'special treat' place.

Christ Almighty, just looked at the photographs... Why are all the meals so incredibly tiny. They're so small they're not worth paying for. The minimalist breakfast looks an absolute bloody joke. This is obviously one of those places you go to to lose weight rapidly. An Anorexics delight for sure. The owners are obviously belly cheaters, I hope the nearest McDonald's is not too far away.
