The Charleston Place

This place was amazing!!! Concierge was so helpful. They recommended and booked us great places both nights! The room was great, and service was impeccable. The staff were so friendly. Everyone said hello and have a great day. Club level was worth the extra money. We will be back!

Our recent stay to Charleston Place was better than expected. Was back in town for my 50 High School Reunion. (St Andrew’s High class of 75). Upon arrival we upgraded our room to a suite, staying for a week we found we needed a little more room not to feel we were on top of each other. We were lucky to arrive during Tennis Tournament going on, and we all know who we were routing for. Big screen set up in Courtyard. After Tennis was over, The Masters was starting. Being in Charleston at Meeting & Market best location to stay, while being home. This hotel has the best and professional Bell Staff which is incorporated with there transportation department. We met and were assisted by the whole Crew and used them to make our stay like we were at home. To many names to type. This Crew keeps this Hotel on the map. We ate in all the restaurants, used the Spa for massage & nails. See all of you soon and thanks again!

My husband and I stayed at The Charleston Place hotel for a company trip. A multi-year refurbishment construction was going on during our stay. The pool was unavailable along with the main entrance. We had to enter on Market Street instead of Meeting Street. We did hear construction noise during the day, but it was not bothersome. On our arrival day the staff was more attentive that any we have ever experienced at any hotel ever, and we have stayed at many high end hotels all over the world. Everyone there always said hello and asked about our day. Our room was very nice. We had a small "Juliet-type" balcony, but you could only stand on it. We went out there once. We had 2 comfortable chairs, a king bed, large tv, refrigerator, coffee maker, safe and very nice bathroom. Our only complaint was about the amount of time it took the valet to retrieve our car. We even called down to request it before we left our room as the valet had suggested, but always had a long wait. This is a gorgeous hotel with fabulous shops and meeting spaces. It's also in walking distance of almost everything in the tourist area of Charleston. I would definitely stay there again just because of the supreme level of customer service.
