I actually had a great experience with this hotel. The location was perfect for exploring Seattle downtown / tourist attractions. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The building is very beautiful and recently refurbished. The restaurants / roof top bar is very good (Fog Room). We did have one issue with the elevators but it was resolved quickly. The parking is very pricey considering you can literally go 250 feet down the road and find parking for a fraction of the cost.
Hotel is in a great location. Our room had some A/C issues and fridge didn't keep anything cold. What irritated me that as Hilton diamond member they don't allow mobile check in. I don't want to have to stop by the front desk so mobile check in/mobile key would be nice. For the price you might could find something better.
I truly do not want to post a negative review but your hotel and staff have given me no choice. I stayed at your hotel last week July 31st and August 1st. The hotel is lovely. When I checked out, I asked for my receipt and was advised that it would be emailed to me. I received the invoice via email the next day and saw a charge for $65 for valet parking. I did not have a car. I called the hotel and connected with the front desk. I explained the situation to the representative that answered, and she literally hung up on me. At first I thought we were disconnected by mistake but I called back 4 times. Each time I selected the option to speak to someone, option 3 I believe, the person would answer and as I began to speak, would just hang up. 4 times!!!! I finally called the Hilton Customer line and the representative said he connected with the property and they would send me a revised invoice and credit the $65 for parking. It never happened. I am so disappointed in the service at this hotel. I have advised my CFO to dispute this wrongful charge. I have stayed at Hilton hotels for years. This is a first where the staff answering the front desk would opt to just hang up on a customer rather than take the time to fix a problem that Hilton created.
