A Heartwarming & Family-Friendly NYC Experience! Our stay exceeded every expectation and gave us memories we’ll treasure forever! Thanks to this hotel, our daughter’s first trip to NY was perfect. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel so welcomed. The entire hotel was immaculately clean and clearly well cared for—something we really appreciated, especially while traveling with a baby. What truly set this experience apart was the incredible staff—each person we met was kind, helpful, and genuinely warm. Amid the hustle of New York City, the hotel had a calming, welcoming vibe that reminded us of “Midwest nice”—something truly special. The location was fantastic—just steps away from Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, amazing restaurants, and even a nearby park where our baby could play. Traveling with a little one can be challenging, but this hotel made it seamless. From a baby tub in the shower and a stroller ready to go, to fun entertainment and a cozy teepee (which our daughter loved), everything was thoughtfully prepared for families. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NYC—especially families. The perfect combination of cleanliness, comfort, convenience, and heartfelt hospitality!
We just completed an amazing two-night stay at The Chatwal. The ammentities are top notch, however what truly separates this hotel is how amazing the staff is. They could not have been any kinder and welcoming to us. From the doorman to the housekeepers, everyone made sure to say hello to us and ensured we were taken care of. I've been to my fair share of top hotels and the team here hit it out of the park. I highly recommend the breakfast as the chef on site has created a great menu for all pallets. Another aspect that makes this hotel special are the rooms. The bathrooms might seriously be the nicest I've seen. Location is perfect being close to all major areas of interest in NYC. Thank you to the hotel staff for making our visit to NYC an enjoyable one. We will absolutely be back.
We booked a 3 night stay through American Express Platinum Travel. Sebastian was lovely during check in, but that’s where the customer service stopped. He made it sound like they gave us some big upgrade. If that was the upgrade, their standard rooms obviously suck. We had to ask for our welcome gift. It is WAY TOO CLOSE to Times Square. Noisy as hell. There are so many other hotels in the city. Avoid this one like the plague.
