I’ve had the pleasure of staying at The Chedi in both winter and summer—and I can confidently say it ranks among the very best hotels in the Alps, if not the best. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a seamless blend of warm Swiss hospitality and Asian-inspired elegance. The interiors are beautifully designed and immaculately maintained, creating an atmosphere that is both luxurious and inviting. What truly sets The Chedi apart is the staff. Across every touchpoint—from reception and concierge to housekeeping and dining—the team is consistently professional, friendly, and incredibly well-trained. You feel genuinely taken care of throughout your stay. The food is excellent, with a variety of well-curated options that cater to both casual and fine dining preferences. And the rooms—spacious, stylish, and serene—offer a level of comfort and attention to detail that’s hard to match. Whether you're hitting the slopes in winter or enjoying hiking, biking, and outdoor adventures in the summer, The Chedi is perfectly positioned to be your home base. I had the pleasure of staying at The Chedi Andermatt during a recent event, and overall, the experience was very enjoyable. The service was warm, professional, and consistently friendly, making me feel truly welcomed throughout my stay. The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms was impeccable — everything was maintained to a very high standard, which I deeply appreciated. If I may share one small point for improvement: I found the mattress comfort to be average compared to the rest of the luxurious experience. A more refined sleeping comfort would elevate the stay to perfection. Thank you to the team at The Chedi for your hospitality. I look forward to returning in the future!

Targets millionaires and does not acknowledge your Globalist status with Hy... Jul 2025 We were welcome by an austere front desk young gentleman who totally lacked warmth and should NOT be working at the reception! He has absolutely no personal skills and as a first impression it was a big turn OFF! Americans be aware that this properly for its price range, does NOT offer air conditioning which is appalling !!! Nor does it acknowledge your affiliation to Hyatt and Globalist status guests! which is unacceptable !!! Otherwise the hotel is superb, huge and will satisfy the millionaires ! Its location lacks appeal as a ski resort poor in its offering of warmth, attractions, coziness and character ... traits you would think to find in a Swiss ski resort that advertises itself toward multi millionaires!
