The Cherry Tree Inn

A warm welcome on a cold wet New Year's Day, with a comforting fire and nice smooth coffee after abandoning the planned walk. Followed by really good ham egg and chips or brilliant fish fingers baguettes with skinny fries. They have the option for smaller servings on quite a few dishes. How sensible is that. We had not booked a table but the team fitted us in, very much appreciated I recommend booking to be sure of a table. The menu is nice and short so you can be confident of fresh cooked food. All your favourite pub dishes are there. Decent carpark and good accessibility for all Dog friendly, I counted about 12, but they kept moving so there may have been more. Didn't look at the rooms as it's too close, but reckon they will be good.

What a stunning pub. We stumbled across this pub on a sunny day and it was perfect! So perfect we went back the next day. Great service, stunning location, brilliant food. Went with my family, space for my son to enjoy and run around whilst we enjoyed the garden! Didn't stay in the accommodation so can't comment on that.

Went to the Cherry Tree for the first time especially for the Sunday Lunch. Not disappointed at all. I had a mixed roast of Beef and Chicken with all the trimmings, now you may think £24.00 is expensive but this was very generous with the beef and the chicken cooked to perfection. Stoke row is a great place for a walk this time of the year to see the bluebells. The waitress was also really friendly and very good. Four people, no notepad and we each got exactly what we wanted, if you’re in the area on Sunday walk and Lucy is great combination. Will definitely go back and take more friends 😀
