The Chesterfield Hotel

The location is very central and the rooms are nicely decorated. The reception and dining area of the new building is very beautiful with a relaxing ambience. Their pillows are very soft and supportive - I overslept twice - they did not disappoint.

The rooms were ok and staff was very helpful, I didn't stay long enough to enjoy the services they had to offer. They're just okay in my opinion

Lmaoo where do I even start? So I’ll start with the only thing I loved about Dover; their food. I did enjoy the meals they had, it gave me home cooked meal vibes. Now, I hated my first room because it had mosquitoes, the wardrobe had no rod for hanging clothes and there was no fridge in the room. I didn’t like my second room either because the door scrubbed on the floor when it opened and closed and required a lot of effort to shut because of that and there was a smell. But because I was exhausted from my flight, I took the room. Few hours after I checked-in, some men came to the room and began fixing the door while I was napping. It was a very unpleasant experience even though they were very apologetic about the disturbs. Subsequently I asked house keeping to look into the smell but it was still there so I managed till my trip was over. Would I return? No.
