The Chestnuts Holiday Cottages

We had a lovely little cottage where we stayed. The facilities were just enough for the two of us and our dog. Peaceful, clean tidy, ideal location to Skegness, Chapel and other east coast areas. Local to shops and take away too. Would recommend. Will definitely go back!

Our third stay at chestnuts cottages, so that tells you something. A group of anglers using Chestnuts as our base for daily visits to the many different ponds and lakes the areas holds, record weights for everyone this year from Hill View Lakes, highly recommended. Oak cottage met all our needs, just a short walk from the village with a good number of pubs for evening meals and entertainment. A selection of takeaways if eating tea in the cottage. I'm looking forward to our 4th visit next year.

Came here for a 2-night break with the family and wish we had booked longer!! There was already so much to do on the farm - seeing the animals, the trail marked out, the games room and the tennis court 🎾 The house was very cosy, there was plenty of space to chill inside and out. The visitors books went back YEARS and the local recommendations were a lovely touch. Every room was clean, with fresh towels and lots of toilet rolls. Only thing to note is nothing is provided so bring toiletries and food, though there are plenty of pots and pans. We brought board games but there was some in a cupboard along with DVDs. Easy to get to, hourly local bus service from the station or 5 minutes drive Couldn't recommend enough for a family, outdoorsy types or animal lovers!
