Excellent location. Very close to public transportation. Underground metro just across the road. Bus stop at 100 to 150 meters. You can easily walk to Grand Bazar.
I was there around end of February/start of March 2022. CONS: Room was cramped. Bedsheets had stains when I checked in. Shower drain was clogged with hair. Hairdryer seemed it can electrocute you any time. Dinning saloon was a bit cold. Overall had a rundown atmosphere. PROS: For winter, room was quite warm. Towels and bath supplies were changed and refilled regularly. House keeping was visiting regularly. Breakfast was meh, not bad, not good. But... for someone who needs to visit different places of the city, its location's excellent. Right across the street there's a station with access to both metro and Marmaray train. Almost right in front of its door, there is a taxi station and a few steps down the street there are couple of bus stops. And there's a ferry port very close by. Also if you want to go shopping or do some sight seeing, and you don't mind walking a bit, you can get many places. All in all, it worthed the money I paid for the stay. It pushed it a bit, but not by much. If I wanted to blame someone I would blame the agency that booked me this hotel as a 4 star hotel.
Apart from being close to the Aksaray district and the public transport there are no other privilèges. The hôtel itself is five-stories high, but the inner staircase is a spiral. There is an elevator fortunately for those at the top floor. The walls are discected at the corners and the rooms are fitted around an external spiral, which means you will see sections of the other rooms above your window. The housemaid has left us without soap and shampoo for roughly day and a half and our whole stay is for two nights. The restaurant salon is even smaller than the lobby. It is based on subzero floor and it barely containes a few tables for the guests. A full group of people can't fit the small place so the whole idea of having an early breakfast together goes to waste. The food served was somewhat fine and there seemed to have enough for everyone. At close range you may find a suitable market and a baker.
