The Clancy Autograph Collection by Marriott

I stayed at The Clancy for a three-night work trip and overall had a great experience. The hotel is very clean, modern, and welcoming. My room was spacious, newly renovated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel features a beautiful lobby bar with an outdoor patio and cozy fireplace, which made for a great spot to relax in the evenings. There’s also an on-site restaurant with great food and a coffee bar that serves sandwiches and light bites—super convenient and tasty. The only downside was that the guest Wi-Fi was unavailable for the entire duration of my stay. For someone visiting from out of town, this was a bit of an inconvenience, especially when trying to avoid using too much mobile data. Despite that, I really enjoyed the location and overall vibe of the hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Overall, really enjoyed staying here. It’s in a great location, especially if you don’t have a vehicle (very walkable to restaurants and even Oracle Park). However, if you do have a car it’s $90 for the valet and when I arrived there wasn’t even space to pull up for the valet so people were having to park around the corner and then give directions to the valet of where their car was. Service was great - everyone was friendly and helpful. Something kind of cool was their passport program. They charge you a destination fee for the hotel stay but they also give you this little sheet of paper that has a handful of reward type things, like a $20 credit to their bar/restaurant, a free specialty coffee, up to 2 free metal water bottles and more. Their restaurant/bar had good food and well made drinks (though a bit pricy on both fronts). I also was able to bag check my luggage after checkout while I went to walk around the area since I still had some time before I needed to leave. My only complaint is that a bottle of water was $8 even down at their little amenities shop. Seemed a little outrageous. Overall, a great stay and I’d come back.

Stayed at The Clancy, Autograph Collection, and had a great experience despite arriving at 4 a.m. after a nightmare flight delay. The location was amazing and super convenient for getting around the city. Even that late, the service was friendly and accommodating. They had fresh cookies at check-in and little perks like a welcome swag bag and iced coffee, which was a nice touch. Definitely a solid spot to stay in San Francisco.
