The Clarence Hotel Sydney

Such a lovely stay at this boutique hotel and I have stayed here many times now for work. It will be my go to going forward. Warm, accommodating and helpful reception staff. Modern and clean rooms with comfortable beds/pillows. Gym is great too. Location is excellent with many surrounding restaurants, close to Darling Harbour perfect for my runs and close to QVB.

Being greeted with warmth & genuine conversation late on Monday evening was very welcomed given the length of day to that point. Arriving into the room was excellent. The cosy bed amazing shower & perfectly located room to sleep in overall was exceptional

Great location, room was nice and service very friendly. Unfortunately there were a couple of issues. The room faced out over the street and was quite noisy to the point I had to use ear plugs supplied by the hotel. You would have thought a newly renovated hotel would have double glazed windows but apparentley not. The second issue is there are no dining options. As an Accor platinum member I was expecting at least a voucher to have breakfast somewhere close by on the two days I stayed. The room cost me $760 and did not offer any such voucher which was very disappointing. This is like a serviced apartment not a hotel. The only saving grace was that I could use other Accor hotels and enjoy my discount but very difficult for breakfast when time is limited. There is no benefit for me to come back as I can enjoy all of the benefits I need at other Accor hotels.
