Staff was helpful. And the place was clean. We were in an apartment and the equipment was good as well. The hotel is on the first line, however there are ~100m to the beach and a lot of stairs to get there. Its ~2km from the town but the place is easy accessible of you got a car. The place is very peaceful! At night the only thing we could hear was cricket insects from the outside!
A difficult review. We have booked through the website, expecting it to be a hotel. When we arrived, we were told it is actually a apartment complex, and there is no restaurant, bar etc. This is absolutely not mentioned on the website, especially more disappointing as they use pictures of something that is not available on their Instagram and website. When asking about breakfast etc we were told that they rented out the hotel part of the complex to some vegan peeps which is (not only food wise) not ideal. The rooms itself are big, but even though the complex seems to be kinda empty we were only given a ground floor corner apartment, and the on the website promised sea view turns out to be a bush. The pool area is nice, there is free parking, which is on a field and will be tough if the resort will be full and also there are some available sunbeds, but not enough. Overall like a typical Bulgarian complex in a resort, built when there was the building boom and therefore the quality of everything suffered big time. I wouldn't call something luxurious when the shower handle is literally in my hand when grabbing it and the bathroom door can only be closed when actually locking it. The toilet was kinda yellow, the canalisation sounds super clogged as it would literally explode every second next to you and some spider nets were around as well. There is a wooden path to the beach, taking around 5 min down, 7-8 min up. Definitely not difficult, just a quick nice walk.
The attitude of the staff was very disappointing. I think it is not tolerable for a 4-star hotel that the staff does not speak English and, moreover, the menu at the restaurant is only in Bulgarian. I also chose the hotel for spa and massage and, when I got there, I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that no massage therapist is available. Breakfast was awful for a 4 star hotel. The apartment we stayed in lacks a lot in maintenance: the shower drain was rusty, the stove at least disgusting, the toilet brush as well… I also traveled with the pet (a small dog), after checking many times if they are accepted, but surprise… when we got there we were told that it is only accepted in the apartment, which is why we paid extra, and the next day we were told that the dog is not accepted in the public areas of the hotel, only in the apartment… From the hotel yard there is a wooden path that goes down to the beach, in a deplorable condition, with loose bars, totally dangerous especially if you go with children. The description of the hotel says that there is a pool bar and, again, surprise, it was not open… you could buy something from the restaurant, if you were lucky enough to find it open. The first night we ate at the hotel restaurant, they said that it opens at 18:00 for dinner, but, a new surprise, it opened only at 19:00… The ordered dessert, a cinnamon roll, was actually one of the few snacks available at breakfast… inadmissible for 4 stars. A completely disappointing experience, I wouldn't return and I don't recommend.
