The Cliff House Hotel

A table for five. We booked a couple of hours ahead and I'm glad we did as it's a popular spot. The Chateaubriand was sublime, and such a rare sight these days, so we had to try it. The cocktails and desserts were all fantastic, as were all the serving team. A great meal which I'll remember for a long time. A bit on the pricey side, £320 for five diners, but there's no denying the quality.

The Cliff House – Review We walked in without a booking, and I’m glad we did as it’s a popular spot. They have two areas, each with its own menu – one for the restaurant and another for the bar. We decided to go with the restaurant menu. The cocktails and desserts were all fantastic, and the entire serving team was friendly and attentive. A special thanks to Bertie for the spot-on service and great suggestions, and to the chef and his team for delivering such a memorable meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience I’ll remember for a long time.

We could not be more appreciative of the team at Cliff House ! Simply Awesome stay . My wife had booked us a two night stay at the Cliff House as a birthday surprise for me. From the moment we checked in the staff were professional and attentive. The room was smart and clean with a great view over the sea. We ate in the restaurant on Friday evening and the food was superb (catering for gluten free also). The service again was just right … attentive and friendly. The filet steak was genuinely top 3 I have ever had ! Breakfast was lovely, with options available from cereals to full cooked. Every member of staff we met was so friendly and caring. A very well put together experience ! - the hotel managed to find the balance between a relaxed beach front vibe, but also with a great twist of professionalism and guest care. Sad to have left .
