From arrival to departure, every detail was executed to perfection, making this an experience beyond a 5-star rating. The Arrival & Warm Welcome: Driving in, the steep entrance added a bit of an adventure—but no worries! Ntate Elias rushed to assist, ensuring a smooth entry with genuine care and kindness (future guests, rest assured—you are in good hands). As I stepped inside, I was warmly welcomed by Mmatau, who guided me to the lounge area to complete my check-in. And then—what a surprise! A refreshing lemonade drink appeared out of nowhere—easily the best in town! The Property & Views: From the moment I explored the space, I was mind-boggled by the beauty surrounding me. The lounge area led into the honest bar, featuring premium drinks at reasonable prices, followed by breathtaking outdoor scenery. The panoramic view overlooking Northcliff—and possibly the entire Gauteng province—is to die for. ⛰️The pool area, surrounded by lush greenery, and the mountain backdrop with a miniature waterfall, created a surreal atmosphere. Even the tea/coffee station impressed, featuring fresh oranges, bananas, and a delightful old brown cherry selection. 🌄The Sunrise Room – Beyond Perfection: I had the privilege of staying in the Sunrise Room, and honestly, words fail to do it justice. The pictures? Magnificent. But in reality? 100× better. From the elegant layout, luxurious flooring, plush carpets, dreamy bed, gorgeous wallpaper, and bathroom fit for royalty, everything exceeded my expectations. 🧾The personalized note left by the team made me feel truly special, and having a fully stocked complimentary bar in my room was a wonderful treat! 🔭Unique Experiences: This place is more than just stunning—it is interactive! Spotting a telescope in their pictures, I asked Mmatau if I could try it out. Ntate Elias kindly brought it to my balcony, allowing me to gaze into the night sky—it was a moment of pure magic. 🔥Comfort & Coziness: Later, after an unforgettable hike with mesmerizing sunset views, the staff made my evening even more special. They set up a fireplace, brought me a blanket, and offered a selection of books and games for those who love a cozy night in. 🍲Dining – A Culinary Delight: Dinner was made with love, fresh and beautifully prepared. And breakfast? Absolutely mind-blowing—every dish was crafted to perfection. Final Thoughts: Cliffside Boutique Getaway is not just a 5-star escape—it is an experience beyond measure. The owner’s vision of a haven for relaxation has been beautifully brought to life, and the staff’s kindness and passion make all the difference. A word of advice? We have stayed at The Cliffside on many occasions. On each, not only were the rooms clean, spacious and well-stocked, but the staff and service they provide has been exceptional. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome with nothing too small or too large for them to do to help. We stay in many international hotels and, without a doubt, the staff at The Cliffside are our favourite.

This is an absolutely beautiful environment with an especially caring, attentive, and friendly staff. The property itself is filled with so much nature with a variety of plants and animals. Views are unbeatable. The area is safe. The rooms are immaculate. The food is incredible.
