I had a wonderful time at the bar at The Clyde Hotel in Albuquerque. Ashley T. the bartender, provided exceptional service—friendly, efficient, and clearly experienced. She made sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. Her great energy and professionalism really stood out. A fantastic experience all around!

Beautiful hotel designed to transport visitors to an earlier era. Beautiful lobby. Fantastic bar and restaurants. Friendly staff and well appointed rooms. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the speed of the kitchen. It is very slow. The wait staff does a great job, but can sometimes be hamstrung by the speed of the kitchen. I look forward to my next stay!

I was really looking forward to starting a relaxing evening after checking in around 9:00 p.m. Once I got settled in at 11PM, I went to turn on the TV only to discover the power cord had been completely rolled up behind the TV and was not even plugged in. After hassling with the cord to get it plugged in then the TV had no signal. I tried calling down to the front desk and got a busy tone for about 10 minutes so I had to get dressed go down to the front desk and let them know that my TV was not working. The service technician came up and informed me that the TV had been tampered with. There were wires missing and that there was nothing he could do about it tonight. He said they might be able to move me to another room with a TV that works. The front desk couldn't even reach my room because the phone is not working and when I tried to call down to the front desk all I got was a busy signal so two times I had to go down to the front desk to find out what the progress was. Meanwhile, I was charged a $25 a night amenity fee for a gym I'm probably not going to use. I was informed at the pool was not working upon checking in and I can't even relax In my room that I have paid for which includes an unexpected amenity fee for broken amenities. They agreed to remove the amenity fee for the first night because I wasn't going to switch rooms at midnight. They did not waive the charge for the second day even though I have to wake up in a room that doesn't have working amenities. I was relocated to another room with a working TV however I realized the next day that had forgotten a pair of shoes in the old room. Yes my fault for leaving them but I should be able to get them back since they belonged to me and not the person that took them. Of course they were nowhere to be found and not reported to the list and found which is indicative of dishonest staff. This was one of the more frustrating experiences at a hotel. The 1922 Bar was nice though.
