The people running the pub was super friendly and the location is extremely convenient for NEC. The beds in the room were comfortable and the village was very nice and friendly. However, the rooms were extremely unclean. The walls had wallpaper coming off, there was cobwebs on the windows and ceiling, the shower wasn’t clean and the hallway had clumps of dust there which was cleaned by the next day. The pub played music until 12pm which was extremely loud and disturbing, if you’re booking this place for a good rest I’d recommend you’d go somewhere else.
Disappointing experience. Receptionist did not know where the rooms were then issues with key cards. Excessive noise by other guests both outside and them in hotel itself until 4.00am. Room however was clean and more than adequate at this price level, excellent shower. Doubt I will be back!
The location was good but the room was very dirty . There were used women pads in the bathroom under the sink . The kettle looked like it had been used by Henry the 8th and never cleaned after that . The loud noises at night was probably the least thing to worry worry about .
