The Collector Luxury Inn and Gardens

Had a wonderful stay at The Collector Inn. Amenities were all very nice, rooms were clean, lots of nice extra touches. The grounds were beautiful, well maintained, very relaxing. Staff was all very friendly and helpful, valets were fast and professional. Michael was very friendly and helpful. Overall place was very nice, well run and will definitely be back. Additionally it’s only about a 3 minute walk away from St George street, so location is excellent as well.

Valets are impeccable. Breakfast is yummy and the water machine is so convenient! Excellent location to walk to stuff or to take the trolley. The Well has fun drinks. Pool is great! Rooms had ceiling fans! Staff were super friendly!

The rooms are nostalgic and take you back in time. They are clean and the a/c works well. The curtains allow light into the room and with a flashing light blaring into the room all night double sided tape and a sleep mask are heavily advised. The walls are thin as paper and sleeping-in is Out of the Question. If you are unfortunate enough to get a downstairs suite be aware that everything happening above your head will loudly echoe throughout your suite for hours on end and earplugs DO NOT help. There is absolutely NO PEACE indoors, you'll have to go outside for that. Jazz music plays outside and it's lovely just bring bug repellent. The service is 5 star until you ask to be moved due to the noise above your head, at that point you receive an annoyed tone with forced pleasantries as you are given an excuse for the noise and called "ma'am" so many times it begins to feel offensive. The location is very walkable for activities and food. If you seek peace inside your suite, this is NOT the place. If you come to enjoy the sights and scenes of St. Augustine away from your suite, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I do Not recommend.
