What a surprise…..I booked a room late in the afternoon after being rejected on AirBnB and feeling a bit flat. Booking on their site was easy. Check-in was great. Heaps of parking. They were happy to provide a bucket of ice for my bottle of wine. All the staff were so helpful and efficient. Vast eating area downstairs and the breakfast menu was reasonably priced and the portion size was on the larger side. The bed was really comfortable!! Room was very quiet and spacious. Great experience.
Had my mum's 60th birthday in the private dining room of the restaurant. We had a splendid experience with delicious food, drinks and impeccable service. Highly recommended! Thank you Nina, Joseph & staff at The Colmslie Hotel!
It’s been my local for nearly two years now, used to visit frequently until a few months ago when the whole service and meal was lacking, avoided since then. Came back today for lunch and honestly it has gotten worse. Charging premium restaurant prices for food that is bland, soggy and at best lukewarm when it was delivered. Food used to be decent - as expected for a pub but now, if someone recommends the Colmslie I will suggest elsewhere.
