Second stay here at the commodore. The check in process and staff at reception are professional and efficient. It's quick, and the team are very helpful. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. There is plenty of room to move around and the air-conditioning keeps the room warm or cool ( this is my second stay) There is enough facilities in the room to be self sufficient to a degree ( cutlery, microwave, kettle tea and coffee, milk etc) there is a small mini bar and that requires a credit card detail to be left on your booking for incidentals you may use. The beds are comfy.. not too soft but not too firm. Spare pillows in the wardrobe. Large TV in the room and plenty of storage if you were to stay for a longer period. I've stayed on both sides of the hotel now and not noticed the hwy noise. There is a full restaurant offering drinks, dinner and breakfast. Bookings are recommended for dinner. Definitely a comfy stay for a holiday or for business.
With a few tweaks needed for handicap accessibility, this place was still ultra great for our needs. Lovely price and location, the staff were amazing from reception to housekeeping. The kitchen were awesome at catering for food allergies and were very accommodating for our requests.
Very nice and clean hotel accommodation. Bed and pillows are very comfy. Spacious room with kitchenette and dining table and chairs plus a sofa. Streaming TV and free to air. Top spot to stay!
