Great place to stay at Atlantis. The rooms are clean but need to be updated. The service is great and so is the location. I loved being on the water. The weather was perfect for June. They have karaoke on Saturday nights. That was fun!!! Beautiful scenery. The pool was nice too.
This place was clean, convenient and although it’s not the closest to the main pools and slides— but the walk is beautiful and it’s fun to see the aquariums, wildlife, and beaches! Make sure you tip maids daily or room service is poor! The workers here depend on tips- and when you do they go above and beyond. The resort was great though! Clean, and so fun for the kids.
One-Star Review of Marriott Atlantis, Coral Property, Nassau, Bahamas. I recently stayed at the Marriott Atlantis on the Coral property in Nassau, Bahamas, and while the property itself is undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was deeply disappointing, warranting a one-star review. The grounds and facilities have a certain charm, but the lack of maintenance is noticeable, and the service is shockingly poor for such a high-end resort. The staff’s attention to customer service was abysmal. There was no beverage or food service offered on the beach or in the pool areas, leaving guests to fend for themselves. Room service was equally frustrating, with orders taking over an hour to arrive. In the restaurants, the service was just as bad. At one of our favorite spots, Carmine’s, drinks were delivered after we had already finished our meals. Simple requests, like asking for ketchup, were met with delays so long that it arrived after we were done eating. This pattern of neglect and slow service was consistent throughout our stay. The pricing is another major issue. For a resort of this caliber, the costs are exorbitant, yet the quality of service and food does not match. A simple meal of a pizza and two cheese sandwiches cost over $100, which is unacceptable given the low quality and poor delivery. While the Coral property has its visual appeal, the unfriendly staff and consistently subpar service overshadow any positives. For the premium price, you expect far better. I cannot recommend staying here until significant improvements are made to the staff training and overall customer experience.
