The Cove

We were a bit skeptical at first when we saw the reviews but took the decision decided to do 3 nights considering the 6.30 hours drive. We were pleasantly surprised at the welcome and efficiency of the staff and mostly their kindness. The place is quite vast and the lagoon view was spectacular. I only wish that the rooms would be closer to the water. The hammocks by the lagoon was an absolute hit and managed to relax with that constant cool breeze. The food was amazing consisting of Srilankan dishes mainly. There are a few mosquitos so please take lots of bug spray. The Coral sea which was just 15 min from the Cove was simply amazing and spent a lot of time snorkeling . The blue waters and white sand was just as I swam in it 40 years ago. The Air-conditioned rooms are a bit small but clean. They do have a a Villa type cottage as well which accommodated a whole family. Overall we had an amazing time and the kids had so much to do. Totally recommend this place to anyone going to relax and unwind.

If you love a cozy , private, hidden place and a very quiet lovely beach this is the perfect place. Most uber and taxis did not know this place existed. The hotel only has 3 rooms and is very eccentric. Doorways are narrow and about six feet high. The balcony is separated from the room. You get a delicious homemade breakfast. The 2 staff members are very friendly. We were expecting something different.

Quiet secluded location with few rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However improvement in following required. Limited to one parking (concern for vehicle holders who have to park outside ), no hot water and pool only accessible to suite. As beach in area is not clean and sea is rough non availability of the pool is a downer.
