The Croft North Staffordshire

We've just had 3 amazing nights at the hotel and we were blown away. The rooms are incredible (we booked the Arctic Explorer room). There's some really nice details and touches in the room and the carpet design throughout the rooms and corridor were brilliant. All of the staff we dealt with throughout the whole hotel, from the front desk to the shop and to the restaurant at breakfast time were absolutely lovely. They really made the long trip and extended stay even better. It was on the pricey side, although usually most people only stop one night but give we hadn't had a family holiday for over 7 years, it was worth it for us. Alton Towers do offer cheaper stay options too. All in all we can't see how the hotel could improve on what we've personally experienced.

Great hotel. Feels more upmarket than the splash landings hotel but lacks the family and holiday feel you get there. Rooms are nice and cleaned each day and the entertainment was good in evening. Food is a bit expensive on the secret garden restaurant and choice is limited too but food was great and tasty.

We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, and it truly made our stay extra special. The upgraded room was spacious, fun for the children, fantastically decorated, and offered stunning views – a real touch of luxury! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail in the room's design. We were made us feel valued :-) Staff were warm, professional, and always happy to help. Their service felt genuine and personal. The hotel facilities were excellent too – from the delicious breakfast buffet to the water park. This stay far exceeded our expectations, and the upgraded room was the highlight. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend this hotel to friends and family without hesitation.
