My wife and I stopped in on a bank holiday Monday for breakfast wit our dog. We were shown to a table on the left of the desk by the fire place. The 2 ladies who served us were absolutely fantastic, one of the servers was very friendly to our dog and engaged with her and us throughout. Having worked in hospitality I always appreciate it when people are themselves and while I got where the chef was coming from when he chose to apply his “sense of humour” I couldn’t fault the response from the front of house staff to advocate for me and rectify the issue. The food was lovely, the portions just right and we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience, penny was also thankful for the water bowl and luxurious filtered water.
Dog friendly pub in Wells which we went to today for a Sunday roast. The food was lovely and the staff happy and friendly. They even did a free doggy Sunday roast which was fab and our boy thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time we’re here we’ll definitely be back.
Review for the pub Delicious burgers and cheesy chips for lunch. Pork scratching with the drinks. We had wanted to try the sausage but they had run out- it was Glastonbury weekend. Relaxed atmosphere and dog friendly. Decent toilet.
