We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Crown Inn. We had excellent service from the moment we arrived at lunch until we left after breakfast the following day. Matt and his team looked after us superbly. Lunch was delicious and seasonal with everyone trying something different off of the menu. The rooms had such comfy beds. Breakfast was prompt and delicious. We were all looked after so well by such a lovely, attentive team. We will be retuning to experience this truly special, cozy pub again soon.
Fantastic pub, excellent on all fronts from high quality food, friendly service to really nice ambiance of a genuine old english pub feel. I particularly enjoyed the home made sauerkraut, potatoes which were sweet and buttery without any need for salt or anything else, just quality ingredients throughout. My kids also finished all their plates - thank you again
Lovely building. Lovely waiter for breakfast and nice waitresses for dinner. Attic room was extremely hot in summer with low beams. Great for my 5'3" wife. Bit dodgy for a 6 footer. Great roads around the hotel too.
