Extremely busy due to the amazing weather. Location is stunning with the outside terrace overlooking the river Eamont and the new bridge. We called in for a drink as the venue is dog friendly. Staff was welcoming and we was promptly served. We found an outside table noting the table number. The food menu was suitable for all tastes. We ordered the sharing platter and it arrived within 15 minutes. The meal was delicious. Definitely recommend.
Stayed over the weekend with friends. Despite being busy, the staff provided outstanding and friendly service throughout. Great location backing onto the water. Some nice touches in the rooms, only slight niggle is the bedroom was quite warm due to limited ventilation.
Really good visit this weekend, Sam behind the bar was really cheerful in fact all the bar team were super friendly and efficient. First time to Pooley Bridge we stayed at Park Foot Campsite which is only a 10 minute walk around the lake to The Crown inn. The food was really good quality and good value. It was a really nice visit for all 15 of us. We went back for lunch the next day. Thanks very much
