The Cumberland London

Very nice hotel in a really great location. Tons of shopping nearby. Walkable to almost everything or you can bus easily. The staff is top notch. The gym is your typical European gym, nothing great but it's better than nothing. It is updated and clean. The room are modern and comfortable

Very bad experience at The Cumberland Hotel. I stayed for 14 nights. At check in we were initially told there was no booking under our name. After a long and frustrating back and forth they eventually found it. Housekeeping service is extremely poor. I put the clean room sign every morning and came back at 4 PM to find the room still untouched. When I asked they simply said we are busy which is a very weak excuse. The housekeeping staff were rude and careless. Honestly this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in when it comes to cleanliness and room service. The only good thing about this hotel is its location.

Very Disappointing Stay — Would Not Recommend I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel and absolutely do not recommend it. First and foremost, cleanliness was clearly not a priority. The room was not properly cleaned — dust everywhere, stained linens, and a generally unhygienic feel. It made the stay very uncomfortable from the start. The noise levels were unbearable. Whether it was loud guests, thin walls, or poor soundproofing, it was nearly impossible to get a proper night’s sleep. There was constant disturbance throughout the day and night. To make matters worse, the staff were unhelpful and indifferent. Any issue I raised was met with either a blank stare or a dismissive attitude. There was no sense of hospitality, care, or professionalism. All in all, this stay fell far below basic standards. I expected at least a clean and quiet place to rest — I got neither. Definitely not worth the money or the frustration.
