The Dalmar Fort Lauderdale a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The terrace Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the pleasure of being served by Anastasia, and she was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and professional. She made excellent recommendations, checked on us at just the right times, and ensured our drinks were always full. What really stood out was how friendly and genuine she was—she made us feel like valued guests, not just another table. Even when the restaurant got busy, Anastasia stayed calm and on top of everything with a big smile. Our meal was delicious, but her service truly elevated the entire experience. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Anastasia again! Highly recommended!!

I don’t typically write hotel reviews, but my experience at The Dal Mar in Fort Lauderdale has been beyond words. I came here for my birthday weekend, and the staff have been nothing short of amazing. I’ve stayed at many Marriott hotels, but this is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. The staff are incredibly accommodating, kind, and thoughtful. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and spotless. When I mentioned to the young lady at the front desk that I was celebrating my birthday, they surprised me by offering to send a bottle of wine to my room. As a solo traveler, that gesture meant so much—it’s truly special to feel appreciated by the people you meet along the way. My trip isn’t even over yet, but I had to take a moment to sing the praises of this hotel and its wonderful team. A special shout‑out to Emilie and her supervisor, whom I met on my first day both are absolutely amazing. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

If I could give 4.5 I would. The hotel was lovely and the staff incredibly professional and polite. Everyone we encountered took their job seriously and cared about hospitality. Check-in was smooth and the room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Valet was lightning fast and deserves a special shout out. The elevator system was efficient and speedy, and the pool deck well-maintained. My only quibbles were the lack of a club level option (which I knew at the time booked, to be fair), neither the front desk nor the lobby bar had a cash drawer for breaking larger bills so I could tip valet, and the “destination fee” was not something I anticipated or found much value in. Also, for heaven’s sake, please install automatic doors at the entrance. The poor doorman did his best but couldn’t be in two places at once (opening doors and also escorting/directing guests to elevators, but he certainly tried, with a smile on his face!) All in all, those smaller matters aside, it was a very nice stay. Thank you!
