The Del Monte Lodge Renaissance Rochester Hotel & Spa

The Delmonte Renaissance Hotel was fantastic. It's a cozy hotel featuring an excellent restaurant and spa, nestled in a wonderfully peaceful location near a state park walking trail. Shuttle service is available, and the staff were both efficient and friendly. Room service was satisfactory with no complaints. I really appreciate the diversity of people in Rochester, along with the abundance of food options that give it a small-town vibe. It’s a great place to visit, and I can’t wait to return!

Exceptional service even in unexpected situations! My stay at the hotel was overall very pleasant, but what truly stood out was how the staff—especially Christine—handled a difficult situation with such professionalism and care. During my visit, the area experienced a sudden local power outage. Christine stepped in and managed everything so smoothly - she kept guests informed and made sure we were as comfortable as possible despite the circumstances. Professionalism didn’t go unnoticed!

If you’re sensitive to noise, please be cautious before booking! Check out this video first. The hotel itself was very clean and nicely maintained. The staff all seemed busy and professional, which gave off a great energy. The bed was comfortable, and the room was thoughtfully designed with smart storage solutions and USB outlets conveniently located right next to the bed. However, the AC noise was really intense. While I was staying there, I noticed a few other guests mentioning it as well. That make me feel like every room just like this! You can hear that noise hallway too when you walk in the hallway. Later, I checked the reviews and saw that some people had the same complaint—not just about the AC in the summer, but also the heater in the winter! I even recorded a video from my bed while the AC was running. As you’ll hear, it’s not just loud—it causes the whole room to vibrate, which made me feel dizzy and uncomfortable. I had trouble sleeping because of it. So if you’re sensitive to noise, this is definitely something to keep in mind before booking.
