The Delavan Hotel & Spa

We had a great experience at the Delavan. Every single staff member was polite, had a smile, and wanted to go out of their way to make sure we were happy. The room was clean and modern. The bed/pillows were perfectly comfortable. The Chandelier Bar had live music and a delightful crowd and staff. The spa was great. The massage therapist was professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend and will absolutely come back for a second stay.

They want to be an upscale hotel, and charge the prices for it, but definitely fall short of what they’re trying to achieve. The lobby gives good first impressions, but once you get to the hallway to the rooms, the carpet tiles are in need of repair and dingy. The room was not as clean as it should’ve been, the carpets looked gross. There were several bugs in the room. They have a great location next to the airport and a free shuttle, which is why we booked them, but I would not stay here again.

The hallway on our floor had loose squares of carpet all down the path to our room. The room was fine. Clean but never serviced the entire 5 days we were there. Left several times, no service. Stayed in the room with the sign on the door to clean, never a knock. Never removed trash. Never exchanged old towels. Never even entered the room. But had a nice envelope on the desk for maid staff tips to be left. Front desk kept walking away from me as I entered the gift shop and then again as I stood at the desk waiting to pay for the item. Could've stayed at a Days Inn and probably had a better experience for less money
