The Deutz A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Very convenient to the Messe, no restaurants around but light rail within walking distance to get into the old town district.

The room wasn't cleaned, and the used raser was left in the bathroom, which belonged to previous guest. Breakfast is 3/5 The clean condition of room is 2/5 Staff is 2/5 It's not a 4-star hotel, should be 3 star.

We stayed one night at this hotel while visiting Cologne for the day. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and conveniently close to a tram stop that connects you to most parts of the city. Although we couldn’t book a family room online, the staff informed us that this option was available for future visits. The building we stayed in was okay, but compared to other Marriott hotels, the room didn’t quite meet my expectations. The floor was cold, and no slippers were provided, which would have been a nice touch. Additionally, the shower and bathroom were quite small. However, I’m giving this stay 3 stars solely due to the amazing service provided by Marcel Galley! From check-in to check-out, Marcel ensured we were well taken care of, offered great recommendations, and thoughtfully noted our feedback. His exceptional hospitality truly made a difference.
