The Devonshire Hotel London

Great value, central location, and lovely staff We had a great stay — the room was small but very well equipped, with a TV, mini fridge, hairdryer, and an excellent shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made a big difference. The location is central and super convenient. Overall, excellent value for money — would definitely stay again!

My stay at this hotel was awful. The first room I was given was clean, but ridiculously small – it was barely enough space for one person. I then booked a single room, and when I arrived, I found insects on the bed. I immediately reported the issue, and they sprayed the room, claiming it was now fine, but I could still see insects on the walls. After a long argument, they reluctantly moved me to another room. To make matters worse, the receptionist was rude and condescending, telling me that if I had any further problems, I should just leave the hotel and that I wouldn't be refunded. This happened at 11 PM, and it ruined my entire experience. I will never return to this hotel.

I wouldn’t stay here again even if it was the last hotel in London. The desk clerk was more interested in taking his £50 bond, than anything else. The room was so small and unaccommodating, that it wasn’t even close to being worth the £300+ for 3 nights. It really was disgusting. The only redeeming feature was its location and proximity to transport.
