We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived.this was so comforting as my husband is disabled. All the staff are so well trained and professional. The room was recently refurbished and spacious. Above all,The staff were so thoughtful and kind . the use of the car park was essential as parking in Exmouth is difficult.the location is superb .
Highly recommend a stay here. Super friendly owner and staff . Excellent breakfast. Lovely small double room as a single room. Close to everything. I'll be back .
Despite claims of being a four star hotel, our room felt more like being in a hostel with en suite facilities. The room was as basic as it gets, badly painted and desperately in need of a refresh. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Reviews of 9 out of 10 on a certain booking website are incredulous. There was a parrot in a cage just outside the window on the lower floor. It made noises that sounded like a smoke alarm running out of battery. Quite bizarre. The rest of the hotel had quirky decor, that was not to our taste. Staff were friendly and service in the restaurant was good. We had a decent breakfast the next morning. Parking is in a 24 hour lot, 5 mins walk away. It seemed safe enough for the area. Walk to Exmouth beach and town centre was easy, so location is ok.
