We stayed at the Dovecote Barn in June & it was perfect. Ideally situated for travelling into York easily, either by local bus or via the Park & Ride service. There are plenty of lovely villages, beautiful gardens & historic houses to visit nearby and the owners are extremely helpful, providing everything you need for a perfect stay.
A lovely selection of barns outside York. The rooms were great, modern yet with a cosy vibe, well equipped and beautifully decorated - albeit a little bit dusty. The hosts are very polite and understanding. Recommended if you're looking to have an escape to the Yorkshire countryside and be in close proximity to the city itself.
Myself and my partner has a fantastic time staying here for our joint Stag and Hen do! The facilities are lovely and were perfect for all the events we did including a sports day! Can't wait to stay here again in the future 😊
