Me and my family stayed here when me and my wife had our wedding locally. They accommodated 16 of us which was looking like an impossible task. Not only was the house stunning but the set up was perfect for us too, it really added to us having a perfect weekend. The owner was amazing throughout as we booked 6 months before, the whole time assuring us of what to expect, needless to say we were not disappointed. I would honestly recommend this place to anyone, and thanks again for contributing to our amazing weekend. (The view in the photo was from our bedroom)

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay before and after our wedding! From the moment we arrived, we were *amazed* by the space — it was beautifully presented, spacious, and felt like a true home away from home. A huge thank you to Andrea, who went above and beyond to accommodate our slightly tricky dates with such kindness and flexibility. We were so touched by the thoughtful gesture of chilled bottles of Prosecco and Lindt chocolate awaiting us — it was the perfect celebratory touch. The comfort level was absolutely unmatched. All 16 of us agreed it was the **best sleep we've ever had** — the bedding was so incredible, we even asked where the pillows and duvet sets were from so we could get our own! Having our family together in such a welcoming, peaceful setting was a dream, and we’ll all treasure the memories made here. I’ve already recommended The Grey Bull B&B to friends, and even featured it in a TikTok about our wedding experience because it truly deserves to be shared. Thank you, Andrea, for making our stay exceptional. We’ll be back without question!

Stressful Experience – Would Not Recommend I stayed at this property for my hen party, hoping for a relaxing, joyful weekend with close friends. Sadly, what should have been a special memory has turned into a stressful ordeal, largely due to how the host handled our damage deposit. We are a group of respectful, clean, and tidy women. We left the property spotless, checking every room before we left. Despite this, we’ve been falsely accused of causing damage — including supposed blue tack marks on the wall and issues with the pool table — which is completely untrue. We know for a fact the property was in excellent condition when we departed. To make matters worse, part of our damage deposit has been unfairly withheld, and dealing with this situation has added significant stress, especially at a time when I’m already coping with health challenges. The lack of fairness and trust from the host has been deeply disappointing. All we wanted was a happy and memorable weekend — instead, we’ve been left feeling upset, accused, and out of pocket. Would not recommend.
