The Dundas Arms

A fantastic authentic English pub located in a beautiful area next to the canal in Kintbury. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed a delicious breakfast and dinner both days. The room was very clean and tidy and decorated in fitting furniture to suit the historic pub. Spent a lovely afternoon in the beer garden watching the canal boats pass by. The staff here are very warm and friendly which added to our overall experience. We would have loved to stay longer and hope to return one day. Highly recommend the Dundas Arms.

Went for dinner and had a great time. Dru provided exceptional service from a warm welcome to sorting out our wine and everything in between. Particularly considering they seemed to have had a busy day and the team must have been knackered. Food was brilliant, well executed.

Had a Sunday roast and drinks at this pub. The waitress who took our order was really nice and took no trouble checking about the food for my allergies. However the quality of the roast was not great for the price. We expected more. Plus even though we were inside there were loads of flies and wasps, we could not relax and enjoy our meal. After our meal we sat in the garden for drinks. The setting is beautiful and our 3 year old was entertained playing on the grass and pooh sticks in the river. It’s worth a visit for the service and location. We would come back again for drinks in the garden certainly!
