The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens

We stayed with our 2 girls in the Dunloe for 4 nights. It was a trip that had been planned and looked forward to for a number of months and to say it surpassed our expectations is an understatement. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, perfect to let kids have a little independence while being totally safe while exploring. It was the first time our girls had got on a horse and after 9 rides in 4 days to say they caught the bug is putting it mildly. Bob, Elva, Aoife and Jess along with the rest of the stable team were incredible with our kids. They gave them confidence, let them help brush the horses while they went out for rides with great instruction. There were no questions they couldn’t answer for them and they ensured they had an amazing holiday. The food and bar service also didn’t disappoint with Britta in particular and wonderful bar manager with great expertise in her craft while entertaining the kids too. We can’t wait for it to reopen in 2027 and will 100% be back again for longer. Thank you to the entire Dunloe team!

Excellent experience at The Dunloe. Bart, the restaurant manager, went above and beyond, professional, attentive, and made everything run smoothly. Service was seamless, we felt genuinely looked after. The setting is incredible, beautiful landscape, horses, and a stunning view while dining.

Great service and very nice rooms in a very pretty environment. The only thing is that some rooms are all the way at the end of the hotel and you need to walk several flights of stairs - wouldn't be too convenient for elderlies. Good dining and bar facilities. Customer service is excellent, especially at reception. Highly recommend it and would definitely come back if we had the opportunity!!
