Four people stayed over night. We thought the hotel was facinating to enter. The amount of rooms was amazing the garden and sun room were very relaxing. Found the TV tilt hard to work out all we could do was to get it to sit flat against the wall and wished we hadn't touched the remote. The Beds were comfortable. The bath rooms were roomy and clean with great soap dispensers. All in all a great place to stay at a little over $700 for 4 people using 3 bed rooms. Easy access to Castlemain for dinner at a hotel.
We are a group of 12 friends, we had the loveliest of stays. So much room, the facilities were amazing, we have never stayed anywhere with such a well equipped kitchen. We had the chef come in one night and cooked for us while we sat in that magnificent dining room. We loved the authentic bar and spent many hours in the sunroom. We plan to go again.
We used the hotel as a base to explore some of the many fantastic gravel cycling routes in and around the central goldfields area. The hotel was perfect for our needs and we particularly enjoyed the very well appointed kitchen, the comfortable conservatory, the lavish dining hall and of course the original bar. All fantastic places for us to socialise, connect, relax and recharge. We will definitely be back!
