Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Eden. The staff there are extremely nice and helpful and take the time to get to know you. We were able to check in early and check out late; they were super accommodating. It is in a very central location right near the beach in Santa Monica. We did keep to the Santa Monica area for the most part of this trip and this location was perfect for those purposes. The hotel has retro (but not “old”) aesthetic that I really liked. The rooms were clean and room service was impeccable. The room had a TV w/ Apple TV connected, an empty mini fridge and wall shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I like how you can contact the room service team through phone texting. The pool area was great with a heated pool and a fairly large hot tub. There was a gym as well that I believe is open 24 hours with dumb bells up to 50lb, treadmills, elliptical, and a cable machine. There were some technical issues with the gate to the pool, but they were aware and seemed to be working as quickly as they can to get it working; nothing here was neglected. The rooftop bar/patio area was unfortunately closed for renovations during our stay so we did not get to go up there, but there’s plenty of other rooftop bars and restaurants nearby. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. We loved the massive bath! It’s on a very convenient part of ocean avenue, short walk to the pier and Third Street Promenade. Staff were extremely lovely and helpful. I didn’t catch his name, but thank you to the guy who helped us out when my partner was unwell, and brought us our takeaway up the first night when we were absolutely whacked from jet lag, we really appreciated it! Would very much recommend staying here.
Absolutely wonderful!!!! Loved it. Great linens and bed. It was actually comfortable. Igor was so nice - along with the manager that was with him (he helped us fix/adjust the complimentary bikes). I am sorry I forgot your name. Had a great ride down to the pier.
