Wonderful Stay at The Edge Apartment Hotel! We had a fantastic stay at The Edge Apartment Hotel in Rockhampton. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered beautiful views. The staff were excellent — very helpful and friendly, which made our stay even better. Safety was clearly well managed, and the location is perfect, with everything in easy walking distance. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Rockhampton!

Exceptional Staff Services I want to give a huge shoutout to the counter staff who went above and beyond to assist me during a stressful situation today at 5am. I had booked a taxi with 13Cabs the night before to catch an early morning flight, but unfortunately, the cab never showed up. With time ticking and anxiety setting in, the counter staff immediately stepped in to help. He was incredibly calm, helpful, and efficient — within 5 minutes, he managed to secure a booking with Black & White right from his desk. Thanks to his quick thinking and dedication, I made it to the airport on time. Service like this truly makes all the difference. Thank you for being awesome and turning my day around!

Do NOT be fooled by the pictures online! What we experienced at The Edge Apartment Hotel was a far cry from the images plastered on Booking.com and their own website. The room we were given looked nothing like what was advertised - it was tired, dated, and frankly, depressing. This place is generously a 1 or maybe a very low-end 2-star hotel at best, certainly not the 4-star experience they claim to offer. This level of misrepresentation is completely unacceptable. Beyond the disappointing room, the hallway leading to it consistently had a strange, funky smell that was quite off-putting. It made walking to and from our room an unpleasant experience. The quality of the towels provided was also incredibly poor - thin, rough, and felt like they had seen better decades. It's a small detail, but it really added to the overall feeling of cheapness. And don't even get me started on the water pressure in the shower - it was absolutely horrible! The "seaview"? What a joke! Instead of a pleasant vista, we were greeted with a view of a dirty, unclean ledge with overgrown trees completely obstructing any glimpse of the river. They would be doing guests a favour by simply advertising rooms with "no view" instead of this blatant false advertising. The location of the hotel was admittedly good, which is the only reason this isn't a zero-star review. Also, the reception staff were the ONLY saving grace of this establishment. They were genuinely welcoming and the other staff members we encountered were also pleasant. It's a shame their efforts are let down so drastically by the state of the hotel itself. Save your money and book elsewhere. The Edge Apartment Hotel is a massive disappointment and a prime example of misleading advertising. We will definitely not be returning.
