We had a great four night stay at the Edinburgh Grand in a 2 BR Deluxe apartment. The flat was well laid out and exactly as the pictures showed. Laundry and dishwasher worked well and the beds were super comfortable. Also appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked had nice wine glasses not the cheap thick ones. I wouldn’t consider the hotel a typical five star with staff everywhere but what small staff they had was super friendly and efficient with great suggestions on sights and dining (being able to chat with them via app was a great touch). Even with the small staff we were never lacking for service or any requests. We had a couple very minor maintenance issues and they promptly fixed them. Very much enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the large comfortable apartment.
Unique hotel with a great view of the city. Ours had a large wrap around patio. The rooms are spacious. I recommend getting the breakfast package as the menu is varied and the food was very good. The lobby is open to the sixth floor. There was a wedding on Saturday night on the fourth floor. The music could be heard throughout our apartment on the sixth floor until midnight then someone pulled the fire alarm. Other than that we had an enjoyable stay in this wonderful city. I'd love to go back.
My daughter got married in this superb hotel last Friday. It is situated in a central location, easily accessible and within 10 minutes walk from the train station. The ceremony room was exquisite and large enough for 40 of us. The director suite for the newlyweds was stunning . We had also hired the penthouse for the reception afterwards for 50 people, where we had great time and the most amazing views over the city of Edinburgh. The immediate family slept in the penthouse. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. All the staff were attentive and helpful, and they worked very hard to please us. Obviously, they couldn't please everybody, but they tried their very best!! Thank you so much! We have greatly appreciated your effort and hard work.
