Top tier rooms and location. I had an absolutely amazing stay at The Editor Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was stylish and inviting. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and super clean. One of the biggest highlights was the breakfast. It was genuinely one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. It was fresh delicious and beautifully presented with a wide variety of options. Highly recommend The Editor Hotel, I would absolutely stay here again!
The hotel is located in the heart of Athens but is down a quiet street so noise isn’t an issue. No special views from the room windows but if you want to a view - there is a lovely one from the 3rd floor breakfast room. The rooms feel lux, in a sleek, minimalist way. The bed is super comfy too. There was plenty of choice at breakfast with a continental (recommend the granola) and a choice of freshly cooked food. We tried a variety of things, all of which were good but the Greek scrambled eggs really stood out. Coffee also freshly made. It must be said though, that the crowning glory of the hotel is the staff. Without exception, they are friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Everyone greets you with the same warmth and enthusiasm they would greet a friend. Natasha was especially wonderful and offered good recommendations on where to eat and helped us plan our trip to Aegina. We also really appreciated the breakfast staff - we arrived late on Monday night so ate dinner late and didn’t have much of an appetite for hot food in the morning so they organised for the chefs to make us a fruit salad which really hit the mark. Big thanks to everyone there who helped make our trip to Athens special!
Good location to centre of Athens and 20 minutes easy walk through Plaka to the Acropolis. Away enough to be quiet during the evenings. 4 star serviced hotel. Breakfast runs out though if late. Don’t expect coffee to be like Italian
