The Egerton House Hotel

Hands down my favorite in all of London! Very welcoming and warm staff! They made my children feel like they were the very most special guests throughout our stay. All the breakfast options were delicious! We had the most perfect set up between room 26 and 25 for our family of four; two rooms with a locking joining hallway. Their high tea was perfect, everything I was hoping for and so much more. Best experience ever!

We had a delightful stay at Egerton House. If you can imagine all things British, then come stay at EH. Service is very warm and the location is brilliant. Decor, food, lolly station, bed, tea and staff are inviting and just perfect when you have had a long day of site seeing. Thank you for having us; we highly recommend this beautiful home away from home.

I had the most wonderful nine day stay here last October. Perfect room, great food and lovely helpful staff. The big problem came at check out. I was charged £20 per room (we had two) per night, allegedly for service. I never expected this and had already left my usual very generous tips. Most important, I have never experienced this anywhere in the world and I have travelled all of my life. I asked for it to be removed. They said it was but I saw from the copy of the bill that it had not been completely removed. The Egerton is very expensive but was totally worth it until that happened. None of my friends (fellow senior lawyers) has ever been charged for such a thing. It is so sad that I do not feel I can stay there again.
