The Eliza Jane in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

Great location, walkable to all the major attractions like Bourbon Street, French Quarter, WW2 Museum. It is close enough to all the places I want to walk to but away from all the crowd, partying, and overall craziness of New Orleans. Rooms are clean with high ceiling plus a very comfortable bed. The hotel has a very relaxing lobby area with tons of seats and couches in a separate area to relax a bit before heading out and after being out for the day. The only negative is water pressure for the shower is low so it was barely passable just to clean up. Note that certain room types only have windows that face the hallway. So pay attention to the room type you choose when booking. Overall I enjoyed my time here and recommend others to book this hotel when visiting New Orleans.

Great place! The rooms weren’t BIG but very comfortable. There were just us two so the rooms weren’t BIG was plenty. The price was in the top 1/3 but it was worth. We ate once at the restaurant. Excellent service, very good food but I thought the prices were too high. Besides, going out to eat and you got to experience New Orleans.

I've been recommending this hotel for years (due to location). This was my first time staying here. Although the stay didn't meet my expectations due to cleanliness, a pre-paid booking error, and service requests, I will say attempts were made by the property to make things right. Due to this, I would give this hotel another try. It's in a wonderful location, in walking distance to most areas in New Orleans and it's very easy to catch a street car. The area is relatively safe, the hotel was quiet, and the room was a nice size. It also got ice cold which was a nice touch on super hot days.
