Amazing atmosphere, food was absolutely fantastic. Bar staff knowledgeable about the real ales. Heard great things about this place but thought we'd try for ourselves. Elleray Burger and Fish and Chips were just perfection. Thank you. And to see the train times on a live board is just fab... it allowed us to see live updates and times so we weren't late... Thank you for your spot on on hospitality. Will recommend you to our friends. See you next time. X
We had a lovely stay at The Elleray. - Centrally located at a walk of about 4-5 minutes from Windermere station and is right in the middle of town so easily walkable to all the shops and other restaurants. - The rooms were clean, spacious and well maintained. - The stay had breakfast included, and we indulged in a full cumbrian breakfast + salmon cream cheese bagels 10/10 recommend
I went to their restaurant yesterday and it was fantastic. I got the vegan burger, it got out quickly and was delicious. I then got their suprisingly vegan chocolate cake and while it took a bit longer than I'd like to get out, it was well worth the wait! The staff were very pleasant and incredibly helpful! Even if you're not staying in one of their rooms, I'd highly recommend getting a bite to eat here!
