Purpose: To attend a meeting in the morning and have lunch. 1. Please allow extra travel time to reach the hotel if you have an important appointment. 2. The parking building is quite dark and narrow. Drive with your headlights on and stay calm, as cars may come from the opposite direction. 3. The connecting walkway from the parking building to the hotel is on the 4th floor of the parking building and leads to the 3rd floor of the hotel, where the meeting rooms are located. 4. The lunch buffet is served at the coffee shop on the ground floor (G). 5. The buffet is delicious and offers a wide variety of food. The sushi is not the highlight, as there’s no raw fish — only imitation crab sticks and sweet egg. The spaghetti is tasty, especially the truffle flavor. There are plenty of Thai desserts, and dishes include fish, pork, chicken, beef, and shrimp. The selection is diverse and well-balanced. There are two types of ice cream: scooped from tubs and soft serve from a machine, with various toppings — all delicious. There is also a good selection of cakes and a wide range of Thai fruits. 6. The restrooms are clean, convenient, and available in sufficient numbers, up to hotel standards. All in all, I would recommend it for both meetings and lunch.

I recently stayed at The Emerald Hotel and had a mixed experience. The hotel has definitely seen better days — the decor and facilities are a bit dated, and you can tell it’s been around for a while. That said, it’s still functional and reasonably clean. One thing to note: the hotel seems to be very popular with tour groups, particularly Chinese tourists. It can get quite busy and a bit noisy at times, especially in the lobby and breakfast area. If you’re looking for a quiet or boutique-style stay, this might not be the best fit.

A very old 5 star hotel , though quite clean room etc , but the dated hotel is in need of renovation everywhere. Restaurants are not so good either but Japanese buffet is a huge spread and good .
