Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed our time with the Emily hotel. I agree with some people that based on the price tag, the rooms are a little smaller and minimalistic than expected, but I feel like that's more than compensated by the superior location and beautiful amenities outside of the hotel rooms. I definitely wanted to shout out the superior customer service that I experienced. – I had left some jewelry behind after checking out and the security team graciously found it and shipped it back to me in an efficient manner! They definitely went above and beyond my expectations to help me recover my lost item.
Prime location for dining and activities. Friendly, warm hospitality. Their outdoor Rooftop Cinema is a fun experience! The restaurant Fora has appealing and tasty breakfast and afternoon drinks on the patio were nice. It would be nice to have drawers for your clothes and the bathtub is dangerous to step into- my wife and I both slipped on separate occasions climbing in. The rooms are fine otherwise. Overall, very solid otherwise!
The hotel lobby is inviting and it was nice to have a coffee shop downstairs. The rooms are modern and simple, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice enough, but not overly friendly or welcoming. The air conditioning made a loud rattling noise on and off throughout the night. We hadn’t noticed it earlier, so it was challenging to sleep, even with ear plugs. We were only there one night and it was coming from the wall, so I doubt it would’ve been an easy fix. Other than that, there was no street noise, and it’s quite a busy area. We loved the location. And despite the AC noise, I would still recommend it.
