The Empire Brunei

We spent 3 days and 2 nights at Empire Hotel Brunei few years back—and it was truly unforgettable. The room was stunning: spacious, elegantly appointed with plush linens, a private balcony overlooking lush gardens and the sea, and a luxurious marble bathroom with soaking tub. They had decorated the room with rose petals and left a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. The view at sunrise from the balcony was breathtaking. Daily breakfast buffets offered a wonderful selection—international favorites. The pool area was serene, with private cabanas, attentive attendants, and superb poolside cocktails. For dinner, the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant served exquisite seafood and signature Bruneian delicacies—each course beautifully presented. The private beach was clean, quiet, and perfect for romantic strolls. Overall, we highly recommended for couples celebrating something special or family times!

Luxury at its utmost best. The place is so huge you need a buggy to travel around. The gym is the size of a palace. The pool is next to the sea. And the food is always amazing. Just goes to show the opulence of Brunei and how beautifully they have managed the property.

I visited this hotel while touring the area. An amazingly large resort with the best golf course in Brunei (Jack Nicklaus designed). Beautiful interior and grounds all around the hotel and other complexes. The ice cream is great!
